Harriet Petherick Bushman grew up listening to a variety of musicians and genres that have played an influential role in shaping her signature sound as a pianist and composer.  Whether playing as a classical chamber musician or in the pit for one of her shows, or writing unaccompanied choral music or Christmas carols, Bushman is equally comfortable.  Fluidity of genre and discipline is stimulating and always exciting. Married to Richard Bushman, she has carried on her career despite moves abroad and bringing up three children.  Now, planning and performing at concerts together in various parts of the world, her musical life is as dynamic and stimulating as ever.

London born, Bushman attended the Royal Academy of Music and then went on to study post grad in Italy, Switzerland and the US.    "Chamber music ensemble playing and accompanying singers and violinists is where I am happiest performing."
